First love

I was 14 when I first discovered the world of limited sneakers. I saw my favorite artists wearing special pairs that instantly caught my eye. That's when the research began – and I realized that back then there was basically no store in Hungary where you could buy these models in person. That was both a letdown and a motivation for me. My first limited sneaker was a Yeezy 700 V1 Inertia. That's how my passion for sneakers started – the passion that later gave birth to OnSize.

How the store started

Collecting sneakers started out as just a hobby. But keeping that hobby going took serious money, so I started selling my older pairs to buy new ones. Along the way I found new sources, new opportunities opened up, and I managed to get my hands on more and more products in different ways. That's when the idea was born: a professional platform where you could reliably buy special sneakers in Hungary – because back then, there wasn't one. In the first half of 2021 we started building the webshop, organizing the products and writing our own descriptions. We worked on every detail for months, and on January 15, 2022, we finally launched the OnSize webshop.

The store

The response to the webshop blew all our expectations away. In no time we had tons of returning customers, and more and more people asked where they could see or pick up our products in person. Since we've put our customers' needs first from day one, we started looking for a location for our first store. We wanted a place that reflects what OnSize stands for and that's easy to reach for both Hungarian and international customers.

Finally, on July 15, 2023, we opened our first physical store on Andrássy út, one of Budapest's most famous streets. The opening was an unforgettable moment for us – that's when it really became clear how strong the community built around OnSize is.

And in December 2025 we hit another major milestone: OnSize moved into a store three times bigger, at Andrássy út 41. With that, OnSize became Hungary's biggest sneaker store.

What's the goal?

Today OnSize is much more than a webshop or a physical store. It's become a community connected by a shared passion for sneakers, streetwear and special pieces. Our goal is to keep developing our store and webshop in Hungary, keep expanding our range, and give every customer reliable, fast service and a memorable experience. In the longer run, we want to strengthen OnSize's presence in neighboring countries and become one of the leading sneaker and streetwear brands in the region.
